Trachelosperma asiaticum ‘Ogon Nishiki’ (Golden Brocade Japanese Star Jasmine)

Spread: 20 feet
Light: Part sun to shade
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
Description: An extremely hard-to-find vine that makes a fabulous statement in the garden. Evergreen vine with small, tri-colored, slightly pointed leaves that are incredibly showy in shades of gold, green and rust. New growth is amber and then matures to a marbled gold and green. Simply outstanding color! Rarely flowers but we been told of white, highly fragrant blossoms. Great groundcover or supported vine. Pairs well with slate blues and bright, spring greens. Rarely offered in the retail trade!
