Parthenocissus tricuspidata (Boston Ivy)

Spread: 30-40 feet
Light: Sun to full shade
Soil: Average, really any soil condition.
Description: Deciduous vine with holdfasts that cling to buildings, fences, and trees. Needs no trellis for support, just something standing still that will let it cling to it! Very fast grower. Can reach 30’-40’. Tri-lobed leaves are glossy green in spring and summer, turning to a deep reddish-purple in fall. Blue fruits in September are yummy to birds. Tolerates nearly any soil condition, and can handle urban pollution. Vigorous grower – don’t underestimate it!
