Gelsemium 'Pride of Augusta' (Pride of Augusta Carolina Jessamine)

Spread: 20 feet
Light: Full sun or partial shade. More flowers and denser foliage in full sun.
Soil: Rich, well-drained soil. Moist soil is ideal, but can withstand periods of drought once established.
Description: Probably the most popular vine among southern gardeners, Carolina Jessamine is so versatile! 'Pride of Augusta' is a double flowered form. Blooms heavily in the spring and sporadically in the fall. This plant will stay in scale and can be used on decks and porches and near patios and entryways. It is good in containers and as a groundcover along steep banks to help control erosion. Semi-evergreen in harsh winter.
