Clematis 'Nelly Moser' (Clematis 'Nelly Moser')

Spread: 8-10 feet
Light: Part to full shade.
Description: Introduced by Moser of Versailles, France, back in ‘97 (that's 1897!). Noteworthy for its generous flower size (up to 8” across), heavy blooming (in both spring and late summer), compact habit, and preference for shade. Also holds up well in cut flower arrangements. Cotton candy petals feature darker pink streaks down the middle and surround a deep rose center.

Pruning group 2: Bblooms on old and new wood; pruning generally not necessary, but if needed for shaping, prune new growth as it emerges from old stems in early spring.
