Clematis 'Bourbon' (Clematis 'Bourbon')

Spread: 6-8 feet
Light: Site full to part sun with roots shaded.
Description: Another introduction by Raymond Evison. Brilliant pinkish-red flowers with lighter streaks. Cheerful creamy yellow-white center. Flowers are 6 inches across and appear in mid-spring and again in late summer. Suitable for containers or scrambling up through a hydrangea, viburnum, or sweetbay magnolia.

Pruning group 2: Blooms on old and new wood; pruning generally not necessary, but if needed for shaping, prune new growth as it emerges from old stems in early spring.
