Description: Deep purple-red flowers cover bare branches in mid to late March. Wow…so pretty! Deciduous Magnolias are primarily grown for their spring floral display and are used as specimens. Medium green leaves emerge in spring. Sometimes show signs of heat stress in July – don’t let this discourage you!
