Cercis canadensis 'Cascading Hearts' (Dwarf Weeping Redbud)

Height: 6-8 feet
Spread: 8+ feet
Light: Full sun to part shade.
Soil: Amended, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
Description: Green, heart-shaped leaves adorn this small deciduous tree from mid-spring through fall, when they take on a golden hue. Twisty, serpentine branches are architecturally interesting in winter. Small lavender-pink buds open to pink flowers that cover the bare trunk and branches in early spring. This is a great specimen that provides year long interest! Under-plant with spring bulbs for an incredible display.
