Acer palmatum ‘Seiun kaku’ (Seiun kaku Japanese Maple)

Height: 10 feet
Spread: 10 feet
Light: Morning sun or high filtered light all day.
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil.
Description: Small, deciduous tree with a lot of personality! Deeply lobed leaves emerge lime green in spring, mature to forest green by summer and then explode into a display of reds, oranges, purples and yellows in fall. Lateral branches grow horizontally and then branch vertically. This gives it a natural bonsai look without all the work! Slow grower. More vigorous than ‘Mikawa Yatsabusa.'
