Acer palmatum 'Mikawa Yatsubusa' (Mikawa Yatsubusa Dwarf Japanese Maple)

Height: 3-5 feet
Spread: 3-5 feet
Light: Morning sun and afternoon shade
Soil: Amended, well-drained soil.
Description: Dwarf Japanese maple with medium, palmate leaves emerging a yellow-green in spring, turning deep green by summer and then orange-yellow-red in fall. Leaves naturally overlap, creating a unique tiered, bonsai effect. Prune to accentuate! Small size and compact habit make it a great container specimen, but it can be utilized in the landscape as well. Grows 3’-5’ tall and wide in 10 years. Average water requirements once established.
