Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Gold Mop' (Gold Mop False Cypress)

Light: Full to part sun.
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil. Does not like to dry out during its first year or two in the ground, but drought tolerant once established.
Description: Evergreen dwarf shrub with a dense, rounded habit and bright, golden, threadlike foliage. As it ages, it takes on more of a rounded pyramidal habit. Keeps it color well all year long. Suitable for massing, foundation plantings, and containers. Pairs well with wispy grasses, dark-leafed cannas, and crimson Berberis. Slow growing. Does not need pruning. Ever.
