Vaccinium ashei 'Southland' (Southland Rabbiteye Blueberry)

Height: 6-8 feet
Spread: 5-7 feet
Light: Full to part sun
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil.
Description: Deciduous shrub with an upright, narrow habit. Pink-white flowers in mid to late spring give way to medium, firm, flavorful fruit in mid-summer. Scarring is minimal and dry, which promotes shelf life. Suitable for fresh eating, desserts and preserves. Cross-pollinate with ‘Baldwin’, ‘Tiffblue’ or ‘Powderblue.’

Cross-pollination is necessary for fruit set and gives you bigger berries!
