Thuja occidentalis 'Fire Chief' (Fire Chief Globe Arborvitae)

Height: 4-5 feet
Spread: 4-5 feet
Light: Sun to part sun. Appreciates a bit of afternoon shade in summer and protection from drying winds.
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil. Does not like wet feet!
Description: Evergreen shrub with a compact, dense and rounded habit. The medium green foliage is tipped in Indian red and gold, giving it an overall warm, autumnal palette. Works well as a foundation or container plant. Try pairing it with Panicum vir. ‘Badlands’ or feathery Nassella tenuissima.
