Description: This elegant, underused, deciduous shrub is a must-have for EVERY woodland garden. Arching, upright habit with large, medium green tapered leaves on burgundy stems. Graceful burgundy pendants form in early fall and persist through winter, finally opening into white and pink bell-shaped flowers in late winter. ‘Ishi Select’ was collected in Mr. Ishi’s Japanese garden by Atlanta plantsman Ozzie Johnson. Allow a full year from time of planting to get established.
