Rhus aromatica 'Gro Low' (Dwarf Fragrant Sumac)

Height: 18-24 inches
Spread: 6-8 feet
Light: Sun or shade
Soil: Average, well-drained soil.
Description: Blue-green, glossy leaves change to red-purple in the fall. Deciduous. Short spikes of flowers top plants from late March-April. Blooms are male on some plants and female on others. Plant in a grouping for best pollination. Pollinated blooms yield red fruit in fall. A quick, no-fuss cover for banks. Useful for controlling erosion or in difficult spots where little else will grow.
NOT invasive like its taller cousin.
