Light: Morning sun and afternoon shade is best. Needs protection from afternoon sun in summer.
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil and average water needs once established.
Description: This Girard introduction evergreen azalea features small, elliptical leaves in a brilliant green. Overall habit is mounding and compact and is perfectly suited to smaller, urban gardens. Large, pink flowers with darker blotches in the throat cover the plant in late spring. Suitable for foundation plantings, borders, containers, or as a shrubby groundcover.
