Rhododendron 'Roseum Elegans' (Roseum Elegans Rhododendron)

Height: 6-8 feet
Spread: 6-8 feet
Light: Part shade to shade.
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil and average water needs once established.
Description: An evergreen, heat-tolerant rhodie that actually thrives in the Deep South! Large, dark green, elliptical leaves provide a dramatic presence all year long. This is an oldie but a goodie! Ruffled, lilac to rose flowers emerge in mid- to late spring. This is a later bloomer than most other rhodies. Equally at home in the cottage, woodland, or Japanese garden.
