Description: Light green, elliptic-shaped leaves turn deep purple in winter. 3” velvety-red flowers cover plants in mid-spring.
A staple in southern gardens, evergreen Azalea makes an excellent foundation planting, low hedge, or informal mass. A Harris hybrid created by James Harris of Lawrenceville, GA.
