Juniperus virginiana 'Glauca Compacta' (Compact Blue Red Cedar)

Light: Part sun to part shade. Best in high, filtered light.
Soil: Plant in amended, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
Description: Bluish-silver conifer with upright but narrow habit. Cuttings look great in holiday wreaths! Native to the Southeast. Moderate to fast growth rate. This is an easy-to-grow, hard-to-kill plant. Use in containers, as a specimen or for textural contrast in the mixed shrub border. Also good in tight spots where something tall, narrow, and evergreen is needed. Grows 10’ tall x 5’ wide.
