Hydrangea macrophylla 'Izu No Hana' (Bigleaf Hydrangea)

Height: 5 feet
Spread: 5 feet

Soil: Amended, evenly moist soil.
Description: Medium green, glossy leaves hold up well in Atlanta’s heat. Deciduous. ‘Izu No Hana’ is a beautiful Japanese selection that has double sterile florets surrounding a lacy center. This Hydrangea is pH-dependent and may change to blue or pink depending on the acidity of the soil. (In Atlanta’s clay soil it will typically be blue). Blooms on old wood. Prune immediately after flowering.
