Hydrangea involucrata (Bracted Hydrangea)

Height: 4-5 feet
Spread: 4-5 feet
Light: Part shade to shade.
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil.
Description: Deciduous shrub with a compact, dense habit. Large, oval leaves have a distinctive coarse, wooly texture. Just when everything in the garden is looking tired in late summer, extra-large flower buds appear on this plant opening to reveal large blue-and-white lacecap flowers. Great addition to the woodland garden. Pairs well with other hydrangeas for a continuous flower show from spring until fall! Deer resistant.
