Gardenia 'Crown Jewel' (Crown Jewel Gardenia)

Height: 2 feet
Spread: 4 feet
Light: Part sun to part shad
Soil: Prefers moist but well-drained soil.
Description: Finally! A low-growing, heavy blooming, cold-hardy gardenia! Developed in North Carolina, this double blooming gardenia has more prostrate growth than other cultivars and prolific blooms in both late spring AND fall. Dark green, medium sized foliage is evergreen, giving way to beautiful, fragrant blooms in mid-June. Prune after the first flush of blooms to encourage heavier flowering in autumn.
