Height: 10-15 feet
Spread: 8-12 feet
Light: Full sun to part shade but best in full sun.
Soil: Average, well-drained soil.
Description: Deciduous, multi-trunked vase-shaped shrub with long, dark green leaves that turn yellow in fall. Rarely offered! Super-fragrant, yellowish-white, cupped flowers with purple centers completely cover the plant in late winter to mid spring. Plant in a mixed shrub bed with other showy, seasonal shrubs like Hydrangea paniculata, red winter holly and snowball viburnum. Prune after flowering to maintain a tidy form and to use the cuttings in vases to brighten up a room!
