Tradescantia 'Snowcap' (White Spiderwort)

Height: 30 inches
Spread: 30 inches
Light: Part shade
Soil: Evenly moist soil
Description: Narrow, arching blue-green foliage. Perennial, not evergreen. White, lightly fragrant flowers emerge in clusters of two-three. Blooms in summer. Foliage burns in too much sun, also if the plants dry out. When the stems of spiderworts are cut, a viscous stem secretion is released which becomes threadlike and silky upon hardening (like a spider's web), hence the common name.
