Polygonatum biflorum (Smooth Solomon's Seal)

Height: 1-3 feet
Spread: 1-3 feet
Light: Part shade to shade.
Soil: Amended, moist but well-drained soil.
Description: Herbaceous native perennial featuring rounded, medium green leaves on gracefully arching stalks. Small, nodding, greenish-white, bell-shaped flowers are born on the undersides of the stalks in spring and are followed by blue-black berries in fall. Great addition to the woodland garden, especially when allowed to naturalize under trees and shrubs. Colony can be divided every five years.
