Echinacea ‘Gemini Pink’ (Double-pink Coneflower)

Height: 2-3 feet
Spread: 1-2 feet
Light: Full sun
Soil: Average, moist, well-drained soil. Keep the soil evenly moist while the plant is getting established. Drought tolerant after its first year in the ground. Keep dry in winter to avoid crown rot.
Description: Another introduction by Atlanta’s Richard Saul of ItSaul Nurseries. ‘Gemini Pink’ is aptly named as the flowers feature twin-tiers of petals, giving it a double-ruffled effect. Bright purple-pink petals surround a rusty red central cone. A compact grower. Finches love to feed on the seeds of the cones in fall. Deadhead to keep blooms coming all summer until frost.
