Convallaria majalis (Lily-of-the-Valley)

Height: 12 inches
Spread: 3 feet
Light: Full shade
Soil: Amended soil
Description: Medium-green leaves range from 4”-8” long and provide the perfect backdrop for the showy spring flowers. Fragrant, white, bell-shaped flowers dangle gracefully around foliage in mid-spring. Will spread to form a clump a few feet wide. A classy groundcover for the shade garden. Sprays of lily-of-the-valley make excellent corsages. Convallaria is at the edge of its heat zone here and will appreciate supplemental water during dry spells.
