Belamcanda 'Hello Yellow' (Blackberry Lily)

Height: 2 feet
Spread: 2 feet
Light: Full sun
Soil: Drought tolerant
Description: Yellow flowered form of blackberry lily. Clusters of yellow flowers in late summer. Seed pods in fall, good for drying, saving and sharing!

Turns out that the blackberry lily isn't just iris-like in flower and leaf but in actuality is an iris. Based on molecular DNA sequence evidence, Belamcanda chinensis, the sole species in the genus Belamcanda, was transferred to the genus Iris and renamed Iris domestica.
