Agave geminiflora (Twin Flowered Agave)

Height: 2-3 feet
Spread: 2-3 feet. Very symmetrical.
Light: Sun to shade. Spines will be more rigid in sun. Site in a protected spot due to marginal cold hardiness here.

Description: Evergreen perennial characterized by long, thin, flexible, green spines that radiate outwards. When plants are about ten years old, a large flower spike up to 18 FEET TALL will rise from the center of the clump. As with all agaves after blooming, the rosette will die. But, hey, what a dramatic way to go out! Great in containers or rock gardens. Site in a protected spot due to marginal cold hardiness here.
