Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' (Morning Light Maiden Grass)

Height: 4-6 feet
Spread: 3-4 feet
Light: Site in full sun. Too much shade will make the plants floppy.
Soil: Moist, well-drained soil is best, but can handle heavy clay and dry conditions once established.
Description: A gorgeous clumping ornamental grass with a graceful fountaining habit. Thin green leaves have a narrow line of white variegation down the center. Maintains a more strongly upright shape and tighter clumping habit than other Miscanthus cultivars. Awesome seedheads appear in late summer and last through winter. Cut back in early spring (Feb/March) to avoid winter crown rot.
